Our journey from Pietermaritzburg to Umhlanga was quite a trek, but the moment we arrived, we were met with a delightful surprise. Umhlanga proved to be a stunning destination, boasting many ultra-modern buildings, ongoing road upgrades, and immaculate streets diligently maintained by municipal workers. The highlight was discovering a picturesque lighthouse gracing the beach, and strolling along a fascinating pier. As we navigated the tranquil streets, the sight of well-maintained apartment buildings and grounds, houses and gardens exuded a sense of serenity, and even the Temple we visited stood in splendid condition. Our appetites led us to a satisfying lunch purchase, where I couldn't resist trying a spicy Bunny Chow.
