WHAT ARE YOU? It's a question I've gotten asked my whole life as a mixed person. Whether or not your mix is racially ambiguous, we struggle with feeling like we don't fit in anywhere because we exist between worlds and that experience is something a lot of people can't understand.

UPDATE: Since filming this I found and interviewed @drjennpsych whose work is transformational for mixed kids and families. I highly recommend her website, it was the guidance I so with I had earlier https://www.drjennpsych.com/
Right now during this Black Lives Matter movement, I've had many people again tell me what I am and how I identify. I want to have an honest conversation because we are all going through big emotions and I want to be as honest as I can.
If you are mixed, bi-racial, or multi-racial this video is for you. I love you and I see you and I'm with you.
I made this video in the hopes it will reach the people who need to see it and feel seen. So feel free to share it if you feel compelled to. And know that regardless of your personal experience, sharing this message is a beautiful act of generosity that is appreciated .
