Is it ok to use a Borla Crate Muffler on a Chevy Silverado?
I asked this question to Borla and they said it should be fine to run it, but it is not made for the truck. This muffler is made for specific engines to cut down on drone. It is tuned for an engine that has a displacement of 327ci.
The 5.3L is 325ci. so that is pretty close.
