Controlled burns help remove unwanted species, recycle nutrients, and support biodiversity in native landscapes. We’re excited to finally get it done, as the wind speed and direction, humidity, and other conditions have to be just right in order to safely conduct a controlled burn. The area will be overseeded with native wildflowers to increase the plant diversity of our backyard.
