It’s possible to live principled lives in an unprincipled world. We have a great example of that in Jeremiah 35 among some people known as “the Recabites.” God commends them for the way they live their lives with the courage of their convictions despite how the rest of the world is living around them. God uses the Recabites as an example of principled people who refused to compromise their standards.
