We must be thankful to Allah (swt) for giving us the opportunity to attend this beautiful gathering. We are fortunate to listen to all the inspiring lectures and presentations by such renounced scholars and presenters. Regardless, whatever was our intention when were headed here, we must ask Allah (swt) to purify and reset our intentions. On the day of judgement, Allah (swt) will order a Shaheed to be thrown into the fire of hell sighting his wrong intentions. The first hadith, everyone of us remembers in Riyadussaleheen, is the hadith about our intentions. Quran describes the good deeds of those who did not believe as "Habaa an Mansoora". These ahadeeth and Quranic versus are the more reason for us to be extremely mindful of our intentions. Intentions are like one's emaaan. They change frequently. What you intended when you left the house may not be what is your intention at the moment or when you return. Therefore, we must ask Allah (swt) to help us purify our intentions every moment of our lives.
