Life is moving fast, there are many things we can't control but so many that we can. Where do we even start to eliminate the rat wheel of hurry pushed on us by culture? Sure, we all get a good nights sleep but that doesn't mean our mind, body and soul is at rest.

A sabbath is a full day of rest. I've discovered It takes more intentionality to rest than it does to work. I reached a place in my life where I was exhausted and overwhelmed. I spent all of my waking hours running and anxious. This was when I discovered the concept of a weekly sabbath. I don't take a legalistic approach, rather a looser one freeing me to rest when I can each week! An easy definition of a sabbath is anything that brings stillness to your body and soul.

The bible actually commands stillness. If you're like me, you're tired of feeling behind and constantly overwhelmed. We'll talk through how to practically think about the sabbath and how you can develop a routine of your own. It's the season to return to rest!
