Keiko’s arthritis journey began with the diagnosis of juvenile idiopathic arthritis in her firstborn at age 2. After the birth of her second daughter, arthritis came hard and fast for Keiko. She struggled with weakness and debilitating pain. Some days she needed help getting out of bed, walking and putting on shoes. Arthritis even prevented her from lifting her baby up from her crib.
