Between my duties teaching the HPDE1 Class for NASA-AZ at out Radford on 3/30/24 we got to get in some final testing and practice with the 1959 BajaTriumph TR3 before hauling the Car up to NorCal to run in the Kastner Cup in three weeks at Sonoma Raceway and then a final Road Race two weeks later at Laguna Seca. The car then gets converted back to full Baja trim as preparation for the 60th Anniversary running of the NORRA Mexican 1000 in 2027.
This car ran the inaugural Mexican 1000 in 1967 then it ran the 50th Anniversary Race in 2017.
The car has been on display at the Off Road Museum in Las Vegas and the Petersen in Los Angeles. After that 2027 Race it my be loaned to The British Sports Car Hall of Fame in Virginia
