They are OEM Honda parts for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM)

Clear side markers look awesome on the new 2016-2018 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport Touring Edition with a Manual Transmission. However, there was a little bit of custom modification required to make them fit.

Customizing the clear side markers for the Honda Civic required using the North American socket together with the JDM side marker cover, and the amber bulb that came with the kit.

There is a more expensive kit available that will include an adapter cable so you can plug in the JDM Honda Civic side markers to the North American socket connected to the car.

Once installed, the clear side markers will turn orange once the lights are turned on, because of the amber bulb reflecting inside the clear side marker on the Honda Civic.

They look awesome, so give it a try if you want this cool look. Total install and customization time was about 20 minutes, but I was also shooting this video so you might do it quicker than that.
