Aus einem einzigen Faden kann mit etwas Geschick und einer Idee etwas Großes, Schönes und Nützliches werden. Der Winter steht vor der Tür und es wird kalt. Gerade für Obdachlose ist diese Zeit sehr hart. Deshalb haben wir das Projekt "Stricken für Obdachlose" ins Leben gerufen. Gemeinsam wollen wir mit unserer Community Mützen und Schals für Obdachlose stricken.

Mit einer Spende kann man uns direkt unterstützen, damit wir Wolle für unsere JAPY-Stricker (Freunde, Bekannte, Stricktreffs, etc...) kaufen können :-) Wolle für eine Mütze bzw. einen Schal kostet ca. 10€.
Das Tolle an der ganzen Sache ist, dass Jeder Teil der Aktion werden kann. Entweder, man strickt selbst Etwas und schickt es uns zu, oder man verteilt seine selbstgestrickten Sachen direkt an Obdachlose in der Stadt.

With a little effort, a single thread can become something very useful and beautiful. This idea is truly powerful because we are convinced that we can make a difference together.
As winter is the toughest time of the year for homeless people, we originated the idea of "Knitting for the homeless". Together with you, we´re gonna knit wool caps and scarves for homeless people.

Everyone of us knows exactly the feeling of unwrapping a gift and that is the kind of wonderful moment we want to pass on to people who are less fortunate than us.

The great thing is that anybody of you can become part of the action. Either you knit something yourself and send it to us (please find our address in the description), or you may give away your home-knitted pieces directly to some homeless in your city.

Alternatively, you are welcome to support us with a donation so that we can buy wool for our japy knitters. With 10€ we can buy wool for one scarf or one wool cap.
