In this video I go over the cylinder identification for a Ford 4.6L V-8 engine. I also go over the fuel injector locations and the ignition coil locations. All of which is very useful information when it comes to diagnosing cylinder specific diagnostic trouble codes such as misfire codes or injector codes or coil circuit codes, etc.

Note: to my knowledge the information given in the video is correct for most Ford vehicles. You may find that some vehicles have this engine but it is transversely mounted. As noted in the video this info will still apply but just from a different angle. However, on some vehicles equipped with a transversely mounted 4.6L the spark plug and coil locations may differ. Please verify all information found in this video with your own research.
