The MCU is about to get crazy! WandaVision, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, What If?, and the new Spider-Man movie featuring both Strange and characters from previous franchises make it seem like the MCU as we know it is about to be changed forever. So how exactly is this shift going to come about and where does that leave the MCU’s original weird franchise, Thor?

Well, it seems pretty likely that WandaVision is going to be the one that starts this whole thing off. In that series, it seems like Wanda Maximoff is having some sort of breakdown that is affecting the reality of the MCU. We see that Vision is alive in some sort of strange world based off of popular American sitcoms. The two have a family and a somewhat normal life. Even if it is dangerous.

You see, in the comics this sort of thing has happened before. Wanda created an event known as “House of M” that caused similar problems in the comic book continuity.

As far as Thor: Love & Thunder goes, this sort of reality-warping mayhem may be the exact sort of situation that could lead to Jane Foster getting the powers of Thor instead of her ex-boyfriend. This could cause a hilarious and romantic story between Thor and his former love where she’s the one who's the superhero this time.

So let’s explore WandaVision and Thor: Love & Thunder as we figure out how Wanda Maximoff might create the Jane Foster Thor!
