2017 I3 Walk around and Drive to Neptunes Net ( from The Fast and the Furious) by ex Tesla employee

Honestly I love the car and would recommend a used one to anyone looking to get a great deal when purchasing used. The price is just too high on this car new, with the msrp on this model being close to $62,000, the model 3 is a much better deal.

In southern California the range works great, with everything being very close (mile wise, not time wise). The car gets better than estimated range in city driving with the regenerative breaking, and fits in snug spaces throughout the city. In areas where things are a little more spread out, the limited home charging speeds, and lack of range could make this car less practical.

Overall cool car with a lot of the fun features of the Tesla without paying the hefty price tag. It's interesting to see BMW's take on the world of electric cars with the first generation i3 and i8. Did they get everything right, no, but this is a very bmw take on the electric car in the 2017.

Forgot to mention the range extender in the video. "The small and quiet two-cylinder petrol engine powers a generator that maintains the charge level of the high-voltage battery at a constant level so that the BMW i3 can continue to drive purely electrically. The Range Extender switches on automatically when the battery level is low. "
