This gunslinger stitch pattern is a very simple way of adding some detail to a leather belt. Most of the steps included in this video are my personal preferences on how to make a gunslinger belt. There are many different ways to create the layout of the stitch work. I use templates, specifically made for the pattern, from Maker's Leather Supply. All you really need is something round that you can use to make a basic outline to follow (kitchen plate, coffee mug, bowl, etc.) You can also make many different variations of this stitching pattern to give it a more unique look! Grooving stitch lines for the thread to sink in is also my personal preference, that is not an absolute must do. You don't even need a sewing machine for this project; although, hand stitching this pattern may take quite some time.
