For many mods, we need to tweak the Marlin firmware to make configuration changes specific to our 3D printer. Doing this each time Marlin is updated can be tiresome, so in this video I present two methods for doing so efficiently.

The compare function in Notepad++ or VScode is one thing, but with Github Desktop you can take things to a whole new level. After some initial setup, you will painlessly be able to keep your firmware up to date for multiple 3D printers, with online backup and a full history of your changes.

Thanks to my patrons for their help with this video, especially Patrick and Tomaski. I’m so lucky to have people who not only support me but push my skills and knowledge.
