Ran the Sal Fish Tribute Baja Beetle during NASA-AZ's inaugural event at Attessa's Podium Club on 10/9/2022. This was my first time ever driving a Classic Beetle and probably the first time even being in one in over 40 years. Top Speed on the long straight was less then 85 mph and I still managed to get a time under 2:15. Probably another 4 seconds are to be had in the car. The tires on it were previously used to feel out the conversion of the BajaTR3 to Road Race trim. They have +24 heat cycles on them so some fresher rubber would help with lap times too. Car was great fun to drive.
