This is one of a series of four webinars run by the STEP Support Programme (https://maths.org/step) at the University of Cambridge in November 2023. They are aimed at students who have applied to the University of Cambridge in 2023 to study mathematics as an undergraduate degree.

In these webinars we discussed some strategies for solving unfamiliar problems, and some suggestions for problems that could be used to prepare. We also discussed what to expect from a mathematics interview and how to prepare for them. Cambridge mathematics undergraduates answered questions and shared their interview experience.
