The A5S is the updated version of the popular A5 3D printer from JGAurora. It boasts some great features such as a large 305x305x320 build volume, textured glass bed, filament runout, power resume and a colour touch LCD screen.

In this review, I go over the changes and features, assembly and first prints, a range of test prints in PLA, ABS, PETG and TPU. I then summarise the pros and cons of using this 3D printer.

All prints in this test were done with the pre configured slicing profile for the A5 within Simplify3D 4.1. The SD card contains assembly/slicing instructions, as well as Cura and a JGAurora slicer.

This printer performed well during my review period. It was easy to setup and required little to no adjustment to maintain print quality.
