The Servo Yachts Martini 6.0 and Martini 7.0 are luxury yacht concepts that use the latest technology to actively control large pontoon-type hulls, virtually eliminating seasickness while traversing rough waters. These yachts have up to 16 feet of suspension travel and utilize the "skyhook" suspension idea on a huge scale. The yachts are developed by Servo Yachts LLC, which was founded by David Hall, also the founder of Velodyne Lidar. The company worked with Shuttleworth Design to bring these concepts to life. The unique electric suspension system connects the yacht's superstructure to two dynamic hulls that adjust in real-time to the height and angle of the waves, keeping the deck in a level position and absorbing the roll, pitch, and heave motions induced by the ocean. The design also causes less drag than on traditional yachts, resulting in a remarkably efficient vessel that is not only safe and comfortable but faster in rough conditions.
