Biographical film about televangelists Jim and Tammy Bakker chronicles their rise in the religious arena and their ultimate fall in 1987 after Jim's 1980 dalliance with Jessica Hahn which came to light and their mismanagement of funding of their PTL ministries.


My Mother, Father, Sister and me still have all of our paperwork for our Silver,Gold, Platinum membership card's my parents bought me when I was 7 or 8! Also my 91 year old mother still buys stuff off of him that I told her instead of paying 100000% markup! She could get the same thing at Walmart! But she will not listen to me... My Mother still has a ton of LP's and hundreds of Books and all kinda of PTL CRAP! Jim has said we can still use our memberships in Bronson but I bet it's not going to be 30,000 each worth of a vacation! Also another reason he went to prison is he was double and in some cases triple selling time shares! I think I should sell all the PTS LP's, Books, Cassette Tapes, and music books. Sell them all on E-Bay and get some of my parents money back! Yes Jim Bakker led thousands to the lord but how many did he turn away when he got busted. I am not mad at him for the stuff he did in the 80's I am pissed over the stuff he is doing now. All he did in prison was just learn ho to rob Christians in a legalized way! As for being a fake story Jim has said that is closer than any book that has been written about it! Keven went to visit Jim in prison so he could learn all he could from Jims point of view! Jim owes my family 1000's! Giving under false pretenses is wrong no matter how you look at it! My Mother was giving to help the church not to make Jim'z pocketz Phater!
