The 2025 Kia EV6 facelift is expected to debut in mid-2024 and go on sale later that year or early 2025. It will be part of Kia's ambitious plan to launch 11 electric models by 2026 and achieve a 25% share of global electric vehicle sales by 2030. The EV6 is already a strong contender in the electric vehicle segment, and the facelift will only make it more appealing to buyers who are looking for a stylish, practical and fun-to-drive crossover.

The facelifted EV6 was recently spotted testing in Europe, wearing heavy camouflage that hid most of the details. However, some changes were visible, such as new headlights with sharper LED signatures, a revised front bumper with curvier accents, and a modified rear end with a different taillight design. The overall shape and proportions of the EV6 remained unchanged, as did the distinctive roofline and wheel arches.

The interior of the facelifted EV6 is likely to receive some updates as well, such as a new infotainment system, improved materials and more advanced driver assistance features. The powertrain options are also expected to carry over from the current model, which means a choice of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and battery capacities of 58 kWh or 77.4 kWh. The EV6 GT will remain the flagship variant, offering 577 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque, and a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds.

The facelifted EV6 will face stiff competition from other electric crossovers, such as the Tesla Model Y, the Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Kia will have to keep the pricing and range of the EV6 competitive, as well as offer attractive features and incentives to lure customers. The current EV6 starts at $40,500 before tax credits and offers up to 300 miles of range on a single charge.
