I purchased the Mamod ME1 boxed and unused , the chrome firebox had rust spots which will always show, other than that it was in perfect condition.
I tested the engine on air and it failed to run , a quick inspection showed the steam pipe was blocked, an easy fix.
I built a base from plywood finishing off with real teak boarding....Steve
