Mk5 R32; 4 driveshafts instead of 2, 6 cylinders instead of 4 .. Not that usual for a hot hatch, eh? Are these things really necessary in a hot hatchback?

We took the Mk5 Golf R32 for a drive to find out whether it's exhaust noise makes promises the car can keep.
