Honda has announced its 2020 Honda Foreman Rubicon and the other ATV's in its 2020 lineup. So the question is, has Honda finally made the changes that riders have been asking about?

While much of the attention with the new Honda ATV & UTV lineup went to the Talon, Honda also released its 2020 ATV Lineup, consisting of the Honda Fourtrax Foreman Rubicon, Fourtrac Foreman, Rincon, Recon, Rancher, & TRX. So the question is, did Honda actually do much to change up the lineup, or are they mostly the same ole' reliable Honda's.

2020 Honda Foreman Rubicon:

-2020 is bringing a 43cc displacement to the Honda Foreman Rubicon; meaning the machine now has 518cc

-For non-manual models, Honda has improved the reverse lever. This feature allows you to easily switch between first and reverse (while skipping neutral)

-New metal racks - Honda has changed up the racks on the Rubicon and they now accept Honda's pro-connect line of accessories

-Added a front utility box - There is now a new waterproof utility box that is accessible while stopped but without having to get off the Rubicon.

-The front grill has been changed up, as well as the color options.

So overall, the two real things that deserve any attention are the 43cc increase and the interesting new reverse lever Honda has added.

Honda FourTrax Foreman:

-The Honda Foreman saw the same cc displacement increase that the foreman saw

-The Foreman also saw the same new racks and storage options discussed with the Rubicon

-The Foreman ES EPS model also has the new reverse lever mentioned

Honda Rachner:
-All Honda Ranchers for 2020 will get the upgraded racks mentioned above
-All Honda Ranchers will also get the front utility storage compartment
-The DCT and EPS models will also see the addition of the improved reverse lever

As for the, Honda Rincon, Honda Recon, and Honda TRX, there was really nothing special announced in regards to changes for 2020.

In the end, it was another year for the Honda Powersports lineup. Yes, it is great that Honda has added a few cc to its Foreman and Rubicon lineup, but with all the changes in regards to the Talon, I think riders were really hoping to see something happen with the ATV lineup. Honda has been known for its reliability when it comes to ATVs, but they have also been known for releasing the "same old thing" year after year.

So my question to you is this, are you disappointed with the 2020 Honda ATV lineup? Or are you happy to see they are sticking with the same old trustworthy reliable Honda that you can count on whenever you need it?

Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for watching and as always, I hope to see you on the trail.
