The BMW i4 journey started in 2016 with the BMW Vision NEXT 100. This was a highly futuristic concept revealed for the BMW's 100th birthday.


It was followed in 2017 by the BMW i Vision Dynamics Concept, another stepping stone towards the next BMW electric sedan.


Fast forward to 2019 and BMW Concept i4 came to life. It dropped the Vision name which means it's a step closer to production.


It's 2021 and BMW has just introduced the i4. This video takes a look at all four vehicles and how they evolved.
