In this video I will discuss the options our truck has and how it can affect your payload and towing capacity. Then we will go out and look at the door sticker to see what numbers the actual truck has versus the datasheets.

A couple times when I talked about curb weight, I meant gross weight. Just remember that GCVWR is your max number, this includes the trailer, anything in it, the truck, and anything in that as well.

Then to determine your max towing you would subtract your GVWR from your GCWR.

And to determine your payload you would subtract your Curb Weight from your GVWR. Or just look at the sticker :)

Also notice that on the window sticker the GVWR listed is accurate to the truck, which is great to know I always wondered that.
