Parkland formula or Baxter formula
-Dr. Charles Rufus Baxter
Used to calculate the amount of replacement fluid required for the first 24 hours in a burn patient in order to maintain the hemodynamic status of the patient.
Used in 2nd or 3rd degree of Burns

50% given in first eight hours; 50% given in next 16 hours
