While playing in the garden, Henry chances upon what looks like a magic wand. Ella and the twins prompt Henry to perform a magic trick using the magic wand. So everyone shuts their eyes and Henry points his magic wand at unsuspecting Mrs. Berg and says the magic word, “Abracadabra!” Lo and behold, Mrs. Berg disappears! But now they cannot find Mrs. Berg anywhere. “Oh-oh what a pickle!” Then Ella suddenly has a bingo moment – why not use the magic wand again to bring Mrs. Berg back. So they close their eyes once again and Henry waves his magic wand and utters the magic words. Miraculously, Mrs. Berg re-appears. Noticing the children’s relief and excitement about seeing her, Mrs. Berg explains that she had not disappeared, but had only gone to the supermarket. The children soon realise that this is no magic wand after all, it is only Mr. Jackson’s tent pole!
