The 2024 Hyundai Sonata mid-size sedan has returned to Australia, and it's once again only available in N Line flagship form, meaning the Skoda Superb still has some serious competition, particularly when it comes to turbocharged performance.
Under the bonnet, the Sonata N Line remains powered by a 2.5-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine that produces plenty of power and tonnes of torque. But there's more to it than what's under the bonnet. After all, the South Korean brand is touting the 2024 model as a new generation, although it's more of a heavy facelift.
Either way, the Sonata N Line has been redesigned inside and out, but that does that make it a better vehicle? In this expert review, CarsGuide Senior Journalist Richard Berry attends its Australian media launch to find out.
