All versions of the MG5 come in under the £30,000 mark and offer up to 250 miles of range along with 100kW DC fast charging.
Admittedly, it has a face only a mother could love and some of the interior plastics fall short of its rivals. But then again, the MG5 doesn’t have many rivals. Ture, you can buy a VW ID.3 for less than £30,000 but it won’t match the range of the MG, while the Peugeot e2008 isn’t far off on performance but doesn’t come close when it comes to practicality – with the MG5’s 578-litre boot beating all but its SUV rivals. So should you place an order for the new MG5?
