Movie Summary

Today, we will be going through the events of the 2010 Animated Action Film; Superman Shazam, The Return of Black Adam. Now let’s get right into the movie.

The movie opens with a scene of a couple sitting in a car on the hillside. They observe a meteor crashing down on earth in the distance as the boy sitting in the car urges his girlfriend to make a wish. Moments later, the girl gets worried as the meteor starts getting bigger and suddenly it crashes directly into them.

In the next scene, we see Black Adam emerging from the fires of the crash and he goes over the edge to watch over the Fawcett City.

The next day, we are taken to a rather empty apartment where we see a young Billy Batson who lives alone. Billy wakes up to this daily alarm and starts working out. He then rushes outside to have breakfast. From the outside, we get to know that Billy lives in a rundown slum area of the city. Just outside his apartment, Billy sees a group of young thugs bullying a homeless guy as they snatch all of his money.

Billy interferes and as a result gets punched in the face by one of them. Later the gang goes away and the homeless guy helps Billy to get up. He also thanks Billy for standing up for him and calls him Captain. Before leaving, the homeless guy asks Billy for a change and Billy hands him over a subway token.
