Here is the incredible, never before told, story of the failed 1931 attempt to cross the Pacific Ocean nonstop from Japan to the United States by pilots Don Moyle and Cecil Allen. It is told through the life and experiences of Cecil Allen. He was a dreamer with ideas of becoming famous and who caught the aviation bug in the era of Charles Lindberg and Amelia Earhart. Along the way he fell in love with a young woman flier, Aline Miller, while he was married to another. After a life changing tragedy, his ambition became obsession and it set him on a collision course with destiny.
