How to Steps to replace the timing chain system and cam adjusters in your ford 5.4L and 4.6L engine with torque specs and tighten procedures.

Camshaft sprocket - Stage 1: Tighten to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
Stage 2: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
Chain Guides - 10Nm (89 lb-in)
Hydraulic Tensioners - 25NM (18 lb-ft)
Front Timing cover in sequence in three stages: (See video for bolt location and size!! )
Stage 1: Tighten fasteners 1-5 to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft)
Stage 2: Tighten Fasteners 6 and 7 to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft)
Stage 3: Tighten Fasteners 8-15 to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft)
