We're making a natural, dried flower Christmas tree for the birds! Every year I make a dried flower Christmas tree for inside, but this year I'm making wildlife Christmas tree with birdhouse gourds, hydrangeas, and dried flowers! I'm taking a Green Giant arborvitae and decorating it with limelight hydrangeas, Limelight Prime hydrangeas, celosia, amaranth, alliums, birdhouse gourd cups, and birdhouse gourds. I placed saved sunflower heads inside birdhouse gourd cups and added a bit more sunflower seed to the cups. The birds have been loving to the tree and the natural Christmas decor is attracting lots of wildlife to the garden! The tree has been able to withstand rain and snow even without the use of floral wire.
