Worry about your cats when you are away? Miss playing with them? With the EBO Air, you can interact with your cats remotely. This little wifi enabled device has a 1080p camera, a speaker, and a microphone and it can roll around your home to play with your pets as well as function as a mobile security camera. It can roll over to recharge itself with the included charging dock, and if you want to use it as a stationary security camera, it can just sit on the charging dock 24 hours a day.

It gives you the option to set up automatic play times thoughout the day where it will wake up, move off the charging dock and roll around trying to engage your pets. These sessions are short, lasting a maximum of 5 minutes, and at the end, the EBO Air will roll itself back on to the charging dock. Similar short sessions can be set up for the security camera function.
The EBO Air also has a manual mode, where you can use the EBO app to drive the little robot around. This can be a good way to track down your cats or look for missing items under the furniture. And speaking of cat tracking, the EBO Air has a pet recognition feature which allows it to search for something cat shaped, and then once that is found, it will attempt to stay with it.

The EBO Air will record both video and still photos, and it can store them on the included 32GB sd card, or you can purchase a larger capacity sd card for this purpose...it supports up to a 256GB card. And you can use either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wifi with the EBO Air, but 5 GHz is recommended.

Overall, this is a good little product. It's fun for my cats to play with and it seems pretty durable. I do have some concerns about two of the play methods that the EBO Air has, however. It comes with a set of 5 silicone feathers that can be stuck into EBO Air's body and provide quite a bit of entertainment for your cats. However, they don't attach that firmly onto the EBO Air and as my cats were very interested in chewing on them, I'm concerned that they might get pulled off and swallowed. The second toy that the EBO Air has which I think warrants caution is the laser. My cats loved playing with the EBO Air's laser dot, but I have concerns that it might inadvertently shine in their eyes, which obviously would not be good. However, the EBO Air was also fun for my cats without either the laser or the feather toy. They find it interesting when it talks and rolls around. And for me, it's great to have a device that will help me keep an eye on my cats when I'm not at home, as well as acting as an additional security camera. It's not perfect, but it's small and cute, and my cats like it.

Interested in purchasing the EBO Air? It's priced at around $200 (and currently on sale for even less, at the time this video was published!) and you can buy it from the manufacturer’s website as well as from Amazon.com. It comes in a single color—the white version featured in this review—and it’s covered by a one year warranty. It ships with the EBO Air robot itself, the silicone feathers, a product manual and warranty registration card, the charging dock, and a wall adapter. Many thanks to the folks at Enabot for sending me out this sample, and for sponsoring this video.
