Recipe:
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tbs baking soda
1/2 tbs cornstarch secret ingredient
1/4 tsb salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 chocolate chips
1/2 butter
1/2 vanilla extract
1 large egg

There are many ways to “bake” and go about making the perfect cookies. However, the easiest way is to let your child lead. What works for us is allowing my toddler to mix the dry ingredients together first, followed by the wet ingredients and then, mixing both together. Sensory play is huge part of our routine so I often encourage my toddler to use her hands.

After mixing the ingredients together, allow the dough to rest in the fridge for about 3 hours. Important step! Chilling cookie dough before baking solidifies the fat in the cookies.

After 3 hours, roll the cookie dough into small balls.

Preheat oven to 450f and bake cookies for 15 minutes!

After 15 minutes, transfer cookies into a cooling rack.
