The earliest Porsche 911s are now more than half a century old – as authentic as these cars are to the original 911 design, they aren't used as much by enthusiasts these days due to their archaic driving experience. However, Makellos Classics has shown that with the right mods, these beautiful cars can be more fun, more engaging and more useable than ever before. Here's how I got on sampling the build of this stunning Albert blue example, originally a 1972 Porsche 911T, now a 3.6-litre, 300hp hot-rod enhanced with modern tech.
