Synopsis:
Up until recently, home energy storage has mostly been pitched to installers, not end-users, and as a result has featured a design aesthetic of big metal boxes with a user interface of 1s and 0s. Anker has brought more of a consumer electronics vibe to the battery backup space and we are loving what we’re seeing!

Though this is not a DIY installation, it is DIY friendly after the fact, including load management, energy monitoring, and even system capacity modification! The extra perk of running your home backup off of the F3800 is that you can just unplug and take a 240V battery behemoth with you anywhere off the grid you might want to go for a weekend excursion.
