With so many tomatoes being harvested, we have a window of opportunity to make a real classic sandwich, the Bacon Lettuce and Tomato sandwich, or BLT. I'll make the working man's BLT first, a simple but delicious sandwich with 5 ingredients. Then we will polish it up a bit and make a more developed BLT.
