As they say- the devil really is in the details. But, might he also be somewhere else- say in WandaVision wreaking havoc and emotional turmoil on Wanda? Seeing as Marvel have been subtly hinting as such, that might very well be the case. In typical Marvel fashion, they have left us several hints, references and easter eggs suggesting that the show’s real villain is in fact the big red demon Mephisto. If that is the case Wanda and the MCU as a whole could be in real trouble seeing as Mephisto is a force to be reckoned with. In fact, could WandaVision and the potential inclusion of Mephisto be setting up the entirety of Phase 4? Could they be creating ripples that could cause madness and multiverses? Could Mephisto also set up the inclusion of new Marvel characters? All are plausible.

But where exactly is Mephisto and why do we think he is involved in the show? Well, we think he is hidden very much in plain sight and we have the evidence to prove it. So come and join us as we dive into the seven layers of WandaVision and go over the theory that the real show’s villain is the devil himself.
