With the new Genesis GV80, the brand's first SUV/CUV, its clear they have an eye on both BMW and Lexus, a challenge not to be undertaken lightly. The RX is the best selling Lexus after-all. However despite finally adding a 3-row variant to the lineup, RX sales have been on a decline over the last 4 years and it's not exactly the sportiest entry in the segment. Genesis is targeting the major players in a big way with tons of standard equipment, high predicted reliability, a long warranty, an optional twin-turbo V6 and unlike the RX, a "sort-of" usable third row.
