Hello everyone here is another speedboat that needs a huge audio system upgrade! Customer wanted to hear music with clarity during high speed planing because the dual engine noise will just ruin the fun. So the solution is to upgrade and add a somewhat serious marine audio sound system!

The customer has already purchased speakers, amplifiers and a couple of subwoofers, everything is from Pyle Audio USA! Here's the following components that we are going to install into the 2015 Yamaha 242 Limited-S jet boat:

- Pyle PLMRA820 Hydra Elite Series waterproof 3000 Watt 8-channel marine amplifier
- Pyle PLMRW10 Hydra series 10" 500w 4 Ohm marine subwoofers
- Pyle PLMR62 Hydra series 6.5'' water resistant marine coaxial speakers
- Pyle PLMR6KW 6.5 inch water resistant component speakers for boats

Without any further ado, let's start cutting holes through the boat!

00:00 - The 2015 Yamaha 242 Limited S speedboat and the speakers to be installed.
01:00 - 4 gauge power cables laid out on the boat from the battery compartment to the helm's under section.
02:05 - The secret in cutting PERFECT circle speaker holes on boat's fiberglass panels is by using a jig. Prepare the jig by cutting a hole on a scrap 1/2" MDF or plywood perfectly and exactly the speaker's mounting hole measurement. Then mount that jig on the rough cut fiberglass wall then use a palm router to give the speaker mounting hole a perfect circle cut!
02:45 - A couple of holes cut on the side of cooler storage in the stern starboard section for the subwoofers.
03:25 - Just about done in cutting 4 speaker mounting holes on the bow section of the boat for the coaxial speakers.
04:15 - And a couple of mounting holes just below the captain's steering wheel for the 2-component Pyle Hydra speakers.
04:50 - Pure stainless steel Allen head bolts, nuts and washers.
06:10 - Vacuum cleaning every inch of the boat. Fiberglass dust is very nasty.
06:35 - Wiring and installing the Pyle Hydra Elite 8 channel amplifier. Front and Rear RCA's are connected to Connext/Polk factory audio output RCA's.
07:10 - Final look to the installed components, turned on the house battery isolator, then proceed to testing the whole system.
07:40 - DEMO TIME!

There you have it, I hope you like what you've seen and let me know if you're an avid jet boater, please let me know what you think about this project. Thank you!
