The launch of the Lotus Eletre R also marks the official entry of the iconic British motoring marque in India. The Lotus Eletre R is, in our opinion, the fastest SUV money can buy in India. This electric SUV packs two electric motors that send power to all four wheels. They make a combined 905bhp and 985Nm, which helps the Eletre R propel to 100kmph from a standstill in 2.95 seconds, onwards to a top speed of 265kmph. But that's not the only story about the Eletre. It's an electric SUV that has the potential to turn around the fortunes of Lotus and will herald a new era for them.
