Which of these crossovers is best for your family? Both the 2021 Hyundai Palisade and 2021 Mazda CX-9 are highly rated SUVs here on Chasing Cars. But which three-row vehicle is best?

In today’s Chasing Cars comparison, we pitch the new six-seat CX-9 Azami LE AWD against the seven-seat Palisade Highlander AWD – both SUVs optioned with captain’s chairs in the centre row – but to expand seating you can opt for a bench instead.

Other options in this segment include the Toyota Kluger/Highlander and Nissan Pathfinder. Sadly, Kia doesn’t offer the Telluride in Australia. Not yet, at least!
