In today's video, I'd like to share my experience after reviewing Unity XRI 2.4.0 and Unity XRI 2.5.0, which are now available. Both provide new and updated, super helpful features to AR/VR developers.
đź’ˇ What do we cover today with XRI 2.4.0 and XRI 2.5.0? Here're a few highlights from today, but I cover features beyond what's listed below:
- XR Interactor Line Visual updates which now bend towards selected objects
- New XR Transform Stabilizer component which now helps with pose jitter generated when using rays
- New XR Input Modality Manager to handle toggling between hands and controller
- New Climb Provider for Locomotion
- New XR Gaze and Aim Assistance. This one is very very cool and I am excited to show you more about how rays and eye tracking can enhance your experiences.
