Vanessa Thomas-Williams leads St Helena Government's, Terrestrial Conservation team on a mission to protect the island's endemic plants. (See links below)
This film follows the workers to some of the 15 different living gene bank locations for seed collecting exercises and site maintenance.
We take a close-up look at what goes on at the Conservation team's headquarters, at the EMD Nursery, at Scotland, including seed sorting and storage, planting, saving infected endemics and working with the brand new micro propagation lab.
