Hemi Coolant Bleeder Location and Fill Procedure!
Typical done when there is air in the coolant system, especially after replacing the radiator, hoses, thermostat, reservoir tank, water pump or anything to do with the coolant system in which the system is unsealed and air is introduced.

Tools:
1/4" Allen Key for Water Pump Plug (Teflon tape optional, the tapered threads should be enough, Teflon Tape added for extra insurance)
Rags and low profile buckets (Tuperware etc. I used my low profile Oil catcher!)
Orange OEM Coolant

Steps Below:
1. Clear work area for access to water pump plug located at the front of the engine.
2. Cover engine parts with rags and place low profile buckets underneath the engine bay to catch the old coolant.
3. Remove Reservoir Cap.
4. Remove water pump plug.
5.Add Orange OEM coolant until coolant flows out of water pump plug hole.
6. Quickly Install water pump plug.
7. Top up coolant reservoir tank.
8. Run Engine with reservoir cap off & the Heater on full for about 30 minutes.
9. Monitor engine temperature and ensure that it is steady below 100 Degrees Celsius or 210 Degrees Fahrenheit .
10. Install reservoir cap.
11. Go for spirited test drive close to home!

Locating the Coolant Bleeder:

Coolant Fill Procedure:

Allow Engine to Cool: Before beginning the coolant fill procedure, ensure that the engine is completely cool to prevent the risk of burns or injury from hot coolant.

Prepare Coolant Mixture: If necessary, prepare a coolant mixture of the appropriate type and concentration recommended for your vehicle. Use distilled water if diluting coolant concentrate.

Locate Bleeder Screw/Valve: Once you've identified the coolant bleeder, use a wrench or socket to loosen the screw or valve slightly. Do not remove it completely.

Fill Coolant Reservoir: Fill the coolant reservoir with the prepared coolant mixture until it reaches the "MAX" or "FULL" mark. This will help prime the system and begin the filling process.

Start Engine: Start the engine and allow it to idle. Monitor the coolant temperature gauge and observe the coolant level in the reservoir.

Open Bleeder: With the engine running, slowly open the coolant bleeder screw or valve to release any trapped air from the system. Keep an eye on the coolant level in the reservoir and continue adding coolant as needed to maintain the proper level.

Close Bleeder: Once a steady stream of coolant without air bubbles is observed from the bleeder, close it securely to prevent coolant leaks.

Monitor Temperature: Continue running the engine and monitor the coolant temperature gauge to ensure that the engine reaches operating temperature without overheating.

Final Check: After the engine has reached operating temperature and cooled down, check the coolant level in the reservoir again and top off if necessary.

Test Drive: Take the vehicle for a test drive to ensure that the cooling system is functioning properly and that there are no signs of overheating or coolant leaks.
