How To Power Down PlayStation 5 From the DualSense Controller. Why Sony didn't make it the same easy process to power down the PS5 as it was the PS4 is crazy, which is what influenced me to publish this YouTube video highlighting the power cycle differences between these generations of gaming consoles. Then, I show how to optimize the Rest Mode settings on the PS5 so that you can conserve energy while charging accessories, enable Remote Play and apply updates when away from the console. Make sure you turn these settings on in order to get all three features in Rest Mode, as it can be easy to overlook when setting up your PS5 console for the first time!
