Why you should watch: Our monthly review has a lot to cover - from the UK budget, to the US Administration's infrastructure plan, from the current BoE Governor's climate change commitment to his predecessor's involvement with Blackrock, from Temasek's latest initiative to NEST... A big month, and then there's the Hill Review, the latest announcements by The Pensions Regulator, the DWP's open consultation on pensions, and more controversy over the EU's attempt to impose a 'taxonomy'... All you need to know, and much that you might have missed with three leading commentators in the ESG space.

Moderators: Andrew Hilton (Director, CSFI) & Jane Fuller (Co-director, CSFI)

Panellists:

Ben Caldecott is the founding director of the Sustainable Finance Programme at Oxford's Smith School. He is also the inaugural Lombard Odier Associate Professor and a supernumerary Fellow at Oriel College, as well as being strategy advisor for finance at COP26.

Caroline Escott is senior investment manager for ownership at RPMI Railpen, which manages £30 billion for 350,000 members, and an independent director at Standard Life Master Trust. She is a former senior policy lead at the Pensions & Lifetime Savings Association. She was listed as one of the 'Top 25 Rising Stars in Investment Management in Europe' by Financial News in 2020.

Roger Urwin is global head of investment content at Willis Towers Watson, and an advisory director at MSCI. He is also a member of the CFA Institute's 'Future of Finance' Council, and a co-founder of WTW's Thinking Ahead Institute - 'a global not-for-profit research and innovation hub'.
